About this tool
A PDF viewer's rotate button only changes what you see; reopen the file and the page is sideways again. This tool writes the rotation into the document itself, so it stays fixed for everyone who opens it afterwards.
Rotation is cumulative and applied to the page's existing angle, which is what you want when a scanner has already tagged some pages: a page sitting at 90° rotated by another 90° ends up at 180°. Select specific pages when a scan came out inconsistently — often it is only the landscape tables that need turning.

- Is the rotation permanent?
- Yes. It is stored in the file, unlike the temporary rotate button in a PDF viewer.
- Does rotating re-compress the pages?
- No. Only the page's rotation property changes; the content is untouched, so quality and file size stay the same.
