Reporting a broken tool

Include, where you can:

• the tool name or the page address;
• your browser and operating system, including the version;
• what you expected to happen and what happened instead;
• the type and rough size of the file, if the tool takes a file — please do not email the file itself, and never send anything confidential.

Wrong results

Calculators and converters are checked against their published formulas, but if a figure looks wrong, say which numbers you entered and what result you expected. Corrections are made quickly and the tool page is updated.

Privacy requests

For questions about data handling, or to make a request about personal data, use the same address with “Privacy” in the subject line. See the privacy policy for what is and is not collected.

Business and advertising

For advertising, partnership or press enquiries, email the same address with a clear subject line. Unsolicited link-exchange and guest-post requests are not accepted.
