About this tool
The ambiguity in every date calculation is whether the end date counts. From Monday to Friday is four days apart but five days inclusive — and which one is right depends entirely on what you are counting. Both figures are shown, so you can pick deliberately rather than discover the difference later.
Working days exclude Saturdays and Sundays but not public holidays, which vary by country and even by region. Where a deadline depends on holidays, check a local calendar as well.

Frequently asked questions
- Should the end date be included?
- For a duration, usually not — from the 1st to the 8th is seven days. For counting days of an event or a stay, usually yes. Both are shown.
- Are public holidays excluded from working days?
- No. Only Saturdays and Sundays. Holidays differ by country and region, so check a local calendar for anything contractual.
