About this tool
Conversion happens in the page: the AVIF file is decoded by your browser, redrawn, and re-encoded as JPG. Nothing is uploaded, so there is no queue, no size limit imposed by a server, and no copy of your image on someone else's machine.
Browsers can read AVIF but not write it, so converting out of AVIF works while converting into it does not.
The image's pixel dimensions are unchanged — only the format and file size differ. To change the size as well, use the image resizer afterwards.

- Does converting AVIF to JPG lose quality?

- Are the dimensions changed?
